I have tried many times making banana cake, but some how i couldn't make it as perfect. Today while I was going through some of these caking making blogs, I found hebbar's kitchen recipe as quite simple and easy on making it. So I tried and it came out well. Please find the whole recipe below
Necessary ingredients:
3 ripe green bananas
3/4 cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup maida flour
1/2 cup regular refined oil
1 tspn baking powder
1 tspn baking soda
1 pinch salt
1 tspn Vanilla essence
1/2 tspn Nutmeg powder
1/2 tspn cardamom powder(optional)
Walnuts( optional)
1. Smash banana and sugar well. Add all the dry and wet ingredients together and mix well. I prefer using electric mixer if not whisk thoroughly using wire whisker. Once all of them are mixed well, add walnuts to get nutty taste.
2. Preheat the oven @ convection mode -200 degree for 10 minutes.
3. Place baking sheet inside the baking tin and pour the mixture. Bake it for 20-25 min @ 200 degree in convection mode. Before taking it out, stick toothpick inside the cake as it has to come out clean.
4. Cool the cake for a while, before slicing.
